A fun little read about the folklore surrounding a variety of plants. Though not all encompassing, as far as herbs and flowers go, the author still managed to pack in enough information for the book to be a worthwhile and delightfully entertaining read.I have only had a chance to skim a few chapters, and the content is nothing short of fascinating. It would be cool to see an extended edition featuring Balkan/Eastern European/Eurasian plant folklore.The book is badly published and it is impossible to open a page and read it as the print goes right in tot eh margins. The book has been published on the 'cheap'.Interesting and informativeA bit dated but cute, it gives simple broad overviews of each plants' folklore. A couple of entries I'd dispute but overall a nice little reference book.Interesting, easy to read and very valuable info inside.I love this book. So much wonderful information. I love to learn the folklore of herbs and plants and this book, though old, is brilliant!
